Overview

Momentum Worldwide is looking for a dynamic Vice President, Account Director of Business Leadership to be a key member of a growing team working across a wide variety of programs for one of the top global retailers. We are seeking a passionate leader with experience leading multi-faceted projects that may include consumer and B2B events, digital campaigns, and shopper marketing programs. You will work to develop a strong relationship with clients, third parties, and internal team members while leading and empowering your team across multiple work streams. This individual will lead a cross-functional team to deliver projects on time, on brief, and be responsible for delivering great work that drives business results.

In Short

  • Responsible for growth and profitability of top-tier retail account and attaining annual revenue and contribution margin targets.
  • Provide category and channel expertise and leadership in guiding internal teams across the agency to meet client goals.
  • Provide expert direction and oversight across strategy development, property negotiation/management, and marketing activation development/execution.
  • Integral member of brand team within the agency, developing and managing client business.
  • Foster strong relationships across the client marketing team and proactively troubleshoot conflicts with clients.
  • Develop staffing plans to profitably support the business.
  • Lead Business Leadership and cross-discipline agency teams in developing and delivering exceptional programs.
  • Actively contributing to new business efforts.
  • Develop and deliver compelling client/new business presentations.
  • Mentorship and development of all direct reports.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing preferred.
  • 12+ years agency Account Management experience.
  • Retail, shopper, and commerce experience greatly valued.
  • Willing and interested in travel.
  • Self-motivated and able to problem-solve in a live, onsite event environment.
  • Experienced in strategic thinking and ability to articulate the big picture.
  • Exceptional verbal & written communication skills.
  • Well-versed in business development and strategic thought leadership.
  • Ability to perform well in fast-changing environments.
  • Demonstrated success in leading multi-disciplinary teams.
