Deal Desk Analyst - Remote

Overview

The Deal Desk Analyst plays a crucial role in supporting Velotic's go-to-market team by managing customer deals from intake to execution, ensuring compliance with commercial policies and business rules.

In Short

• Serve as the first point of contact for deal requests.
• Lead cross-functional deal reviews with various stakeholders.
• Partner with Sales to shape pricing strategy and deal structures.
• Review pricing, discounting, and contract terms.
• Enforce pricing policies and manage exception processes.
• Act as a trusted advisor to sellers on pricing strategy.
• Use CRM and financial data to inform deal decisions.
• Build and validate quotes for new business and renewals.
• Prepare booking packages for Order Management and Billing.
• Track and analyze Deal Desk KPIs for continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Strong judgment in ambiguous deal scenarios.
• Proficient in Excel and financial analysis.
• Experience with CPQ systems, preferably Salesforce CPQ.
• Understanding of SaaS pricing and commercial constructs.
• Ability to manage multiple deals in a deadline-driven environment.
• High attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
• Experience with CRM and quote-to-cash systems.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 2–5+ years in Deal Desk or Sales Operations.
• Ability to operate independently in a scaling environment.
