Cost Accounting System Analyst - Remote

Overview

The Cost Accounting System Analyst will provide financial system and accounting support, overseeing the implementation of an ERP system and ensuring compliance with company policies.

In Short

• Collaborate with teams for ERP integration and roll-out.
• Support ERP project from accounting and financial reporting perspective.
• Implement new processes and controls for finance system.
• Work with auditors for timely documentation.
• Lead change to resolve data issues and improve processes.
• Ensure accuracy of month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Develop reports for accounting and operational management.
• Diagnose data quality issues and communicate solutions.
• Assist in training workshops for ERP operation.
• Travel to manufacturing facilities as needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and financial analysis.
• Experience with ERP systems in manufacturing.
• Experience with JDE E1 is a plus.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office products.
