Overview

The Senior Director of Finance plays a key leadership role at Christianity Today (CT) by creating and overseeing efficient processes for financial management, directing the Finance team, and working closely with senior leaders to monitor financial trends.

• Overseeing CT’s Finance & Accounting department.
• Preparing monthly financial summaries and budget reports.
• Leading the annual budgeting process.
• Developing processes and technologies to streamline payroll and accounting practices.
• Creating and evaluating annual budgets for all operations.
• Meeting regularly with the senior leadership team.
• Strong experience as a financial controller.
• Bachelor’s degree and CPA required; MBA preferred.
• 5+ years of executive finance experience required.

Requirements

• 10+ years of finance, expense management, or accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of accounting software (Sage Intacct).
• Effective communication skills.
• Some experience in publishing and/or membership-driven business models preferred.
