Senior Director of Finance - Remote

Overview

As Senior Director of Finance at Altruistiq, you will play a crucial role in shaping our financial strategy and preparing us for future fundraising. You will lead our finance function, establishing robust processes and controls while serving as a strategic partner to the CEO and leadership team.

In Short

• Build and scale our finance function, establishing best-in-class processes, controls, and reporting
• Lead Strategic Finance, providing key insights to drive business decisions
• Lead the company through fundraise activities as and when necessary
• Develop and maintain financial models, forecasts, and budgets
• Partner with CEO and broader senior leadership team on strategic initiatives and planning
• Oversee month-end close process and ensure timely, accurate financial reporting
• Implement and optimise financial systems and tools
• Build and develop the finance team as we scale
• Manage cash flow, working capital, and risk to ensure financial stability
• Establish relevant metrics/KPIs across the business

Requirements

• 8+ years of finance experience with at least 3 years in senior finance roles
• Experience in SaaS or technology companies strongly preferred
• Strong track record of building and scaling finance functions in high-growth environments
• Experience preparing companies for and executing successful fundraising rounds
• Deep expertise in financial planning, modelling, and analysis
• Strong technical accounting knowledge and understanding of UK accounting standards
• Experience implementing financial systems and controls
