Data Systems Architect & Analyst - Remote

Overview

As a Data Systems Architect & Analyst at Christianity Today (CT), you will steward the systems that turn data into insight and insight into wise action. Embedded within the Product and Engineering team, you will architect, build, and maintain scalable secure data infrastructure that supports CT’s digital products and business intelligence.

In Short

• Maintain CT’s existing robust data management system and perform data audits.
• Develop and implement data collection strategies for accurate data gathering.
• Collaborate with team members to suggest innovative metrics and construct data pipelines.
• Lead and manage data migration to ensure synchronization across platforms.
• Recommend and implement solutions for data security and compliance.
• Work with finance to ensure proper sales tax collection and remittance.
• Track customer service patterns and provide marketing automation support.
• Perform additional job-related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience with Python and R or similar coding language.
• 3+ years of experience with Snowflake or similar relational databases and SQL.
• 3+ years of experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI.
• Experience with data orchestration and architecture including API calls and data pipelines.
• Competence in data migration across various platforms.
• Experience with tax compliance and payment processing software.
• Ability to present data clearly for cross-departmental teams.
• Demonstrates effective communication skills aligned with CT’s mission.
