Microelectronics Application Engineer - Remote

Overview

The Senior Applications Engineer will leverage deep technical expertise in IC design and characterization to support customer engagements and develop comprehensive product documentation.

In Short

• Develop and maintain technical documentation for ASIC and standard products.
• Provide customer technical support and conduct design reviews.
• Analyze silicon measurement data and validate performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for product positioning.
• Deliver technical presentations and training to customers.
• Document electrical characteristics and functional descriptions.
• Support sales teams with technical expertise.
• Work with lab equipment for IC characterization.
• Assist in troubleshooting customer design issues.
• Contribute to new product definitions based on market requirements.

Requirements

• 5+ years in IC applications engineering or related field.
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering (MS preferred).
• Experience in developing technical datasheets and application documentation.
• Strong technical writing skills.
• Familiarity with semiconductor device physics and circuit operation.
• Proficiency in interpreting electrical test data.
• Experience with documentation tools and version control systems.
• Strong understanding of digital and/or analog IC design principles.
• Ability to translate complex concepts into customer-facing content.
• Experience with industry-standard communication interfaces.
