Overview

The Senior Collateral Underwriter is responsible for reviewing and analyzing residential and investment property appraisals to ensure compliance with industry standards and guidelines.

• Review and analyze appraisals for compliance with USPAP and investor guidelines.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in mortgage underwriting.
• Knowledge of USPAP, FNMA/FHLMC guidelines, and Non-QM lending.
• Experience with various property types and complex appraisals.
• Familiarity with appraisal platforms.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• High attention to detail and risk management.
• Ability to manage high-volume workflows efficiently.
