Overview

Chainguard is seeking a Sales Engineering Leader to partner with regional Sales Leadership, manage a team of sales engineers, and develop technical sales strategies for Enterprise customers.

  • Partner with Sales Leadership to evaluate and prove the value of solutions.
  • Lead and manage a team of sales engineers.
  • Hire and staff Sales Engineers for Enterprise business growth.
  • Set performance goals and conduct evaluations.
  • Collaborate with sales teams to identify customer requirements.
  • Stay current with industry trends and technologies.
  • Provide feedback to product management.
  • Create technical sales collateral.
  • Track key performance metrics.
  • Monitor expenses and adhere to budgets.

Requirements

  • 4+ years in Sales Engineering Leadership for Enterprise accounts.
  • 8+ years as a Sales Engineer for Enterprise accounts.
  • Experience with container technologies (Kubernetes, Docker).
  • Knowledge of cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, Google).
  • Experience in cloud security or container security.
  • Familiarity with MEDDPICC and Command of the Message frameworks.
  • Ability to build credibility with customers.
  • Strong team player and mentor.
