Billings & Collections Specialist - Remote

Overview

Chainguard is seeking a detail-oriented Billings & Collections Specialist to manage the invoicing process, ensuring accurate billing and driving the collection of outstanding receivables while maintaining positive customer relationships.

In Short

• Prepare and issue accurate customer invoices.
• Maintain billing schedules for all contracts.
• Monitor accounts receivable and initiate follow-ups.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with various teams.
• Provide reporting on AR health and collections KPIs.
• Contact customers to resolve payment delays.
• Reconcile billings and collections with the general ledger.
• Assist in developing process improvements.
• Ensure compliance with sales & VAT tax regulations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, or equivalent experience.
• At least 2 years of experience in billing or collections.
• Detail-oriented and analytical.
• Experience using accounting software and ERP systems.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks.
• Strong Excel/Google sheet skills.
