In Short

• Detail-oriented and proactive Billing and Collections Specialist needed.
• Responsible for accurate billing and timely reimbursement.
• Experience in medical billing, preferably in ABA or behavioral health.
• Generate and audit monthly patient invoices and statements.
• Conduct payment audits and manage patient refunds.
• Follow up on outstanding balances with families.
• Prepare clean, compliant claims for submission to insurers.
• Maintain knowledge of payer policies and billing compliance.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential.

Requirements

• High school diploma required; associate degree preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of claim scrubbing experience.
• 1-3 years of ABA billing or related healthcare experience.
• Experience with billing platforms and clearinghouses preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and adaptable to new technologies.
• Strong communication skills; able to work in a remote environment.
• Self-motivated with excellent time management skills.
• Results-driven with strong problem-solving skills.
