Overview

As a Billing and Collections Specialist at Belong, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy, timeliness, and completeness of our billing and collections processes, while working cross-functionally with various teams.

In Short

• Generate and review accurate invoices for homeowners and residents.
• Monitor and manage accounts receivable aging reports.
• Follow up on overdue invoices and support collection efforts.
• Partner with the Member Success team for effective outreach strategies.
• Coordinate with external collection agencies to optimize recovery outcomes.
• Leverage AI tools for workflow enhancements in collections and billing.
• Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies with internal teams.
• Maintain detailed records of billing and collection activities.
• Assist with broader finance and operations tasks as needed.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in billing, collections, or accounts receivable roles.
• Hands-on experience with billing platforms and accounting tools.
• Superb communicator in English (both written and verbal).
• Experience using AI tools for research and analysis.
• Experience managing or coordinating with external collection agencies is a plus.
