Cloud Engineer (Contract) - Remote

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Cloud Operations Engineer to manage and optimize cloud infrastructure across AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud. The role involves ensuring high availability, scalability, and security of cloud environments; automating deployments through Infrastructure as Code (IaC); and supporting incident response, migrations, and upgrades.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, MIS, or related technology field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 8+ years of experience in cloud operations and infrastructure management.
• 5+ years in incident response and major incident management.
• Advanced Linux and Windows experience.
• Certification in AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud is a plus.
• Strong scripting and automation skills (e.g., Python, PowerShell).
• Proficiency in infrastructure as code (IaC) and configuration management tools.
• Expert knowledge in containerization and orchestration technologies.
• Experience with CI and automation tools such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins.
• Experience in deploying and troubleshooting Java-based applications.
