Join Cartwheel to help tackle the student mental health crisis. Kids spend most of their days in the classroom, and teachers and staff often notice when something is off. With 1 in 5 young people struggling with mental health, schools are facing a downward spiral in student crises and staff burnout. Cartwheel is an early-stage startup building technology-enabled mental health services that put schools at the center, collaborating with on-campus counselors, psychologists, and school social workers.

In Short

• Oversee operations supporting clinicians, schools, and families.
• Build Provider Support and School Support functions.
• Manage a team of 20 care coordinators.
• Implement improvements to drive efficiency and quality.
• Utilize smart automations and responsible AI initiatives.
• Ensure team meets metrics and SLAs.
• Establish a strategic vision for Care Operations.
• Implement a centralized platform for managing support needs.
• Drive process improvement as the organization scales.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to achieve business priorities.

Requirements

• 7-10+ years of operations experience in healthcare or customer support.
• Experience building customer support functions in tech startups.
• Drive to automate workflows and implement AI solutions.
• Strong analytical skills and understanding of metrics.
• Ability to prioritize and handle competing priorities.
• Experience in strategic thinking and hands-on operations.
• Commitment to supporting the mission of improving student mental health.
