Field Service Technician - Remote

Overview

As a Field Service Technician with ZEISS, you will play a vital role in the installation, servicing, and troubleshooting of high-tech machines, while providing exceptional customer service and support.

In Short

• Install, repair, troubleshoot, and service high-tech machines at customer locations.
• Demonstrate customer service skills with passion and dedication.
• Learn and work with high-tech CT machines.
• Perform administrative paperwork accurately.
• Work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Travel requirement is 90-100% within the service area.
• Support production during assembly and setup stages.
• Minimum high school graduate or equivalent required.
• Prior experience with hand tools and electrical test equipment is necessary.
• Valid Driver License required.

Requirements

• AS/BS in Electronics or Industrial Mechanics, or equivalent experience.
• 4 years related experience preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds unassisted.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Experience with industrial electronics and machines is a plus.
• Knowledge of Microsoft operating systems is required.
• Ability to work a minimum of 50 hours per week.
• Willingness to travel internationally as needed.
