Field Service Technician - Remote

Overview

The Field Service Technician is responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, installing, and repairing X-Ray Inspection systems, CT X-Ray, Trace, and Cargo systems.

In Short

• Diagnose, install, and repair advanced security inspection and detection systems.
• Provide on-the-job training to new employees or those undergoing cross-training.
• Maintain documentation, service records, and reports for clients.
• Manage spare parts inventory, order, and install components as needed.
• Work in various environments, including airports, courts, and industrial sites.
• Provide technical support and training to clients as needed.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols, U.S. export regulations, and company policies.
• This position is designed for a highly skilled technician capable of independently solving technical problems and ensuring high customer satisfaction.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Industrial, Electrical, Electronic, or Mechanical) or a combination of 5 years of experience and a bachelor's degree in a related field.
• Fluency in Spanish and English.
• Strong experience in diagnosing and troubleshooting technical issues in electronic and mechanical systems.
• Certifications in networking or systems integration (A+, CCNA, or similar) are valued.
• Availability to work outside office hours and in emergencies.
• Physical ability to lift/load up to 80 pounds (36 kg) and handle heavy equipment.
