Overview

The Field Service Technician is responsible for providing technical support, equipment demonstrations, and training to customers across the country, with a strong focus on troubleshooting and resolving issues related to Environmental Solutions Group products.

In Short

  • Provide equipment start-ups and demonstrations for customers.
  • Coordinate technical service functions and troubleshooting via telephone.
  • Conduct training sessions for customers and dealers.
  • Travel extensively (up to 98% of the time) to customer sites.
  • Repair and modify equipment in the field.
  • Maintain records of warranty and quality reports.
  • Work closely with the Sales department to support equipment management.
  • Attend trade shows and dealer clinics to promote products.
  • Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to ethical work standards and teamwork.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2-year Technical School or equivalent work experience.
  • Strong understanding of hydraulic and electrical principles.
  • Ability to read blueprints and electrical schematics.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
  • Willingness to travel frequently and work flexible hours.
  • Ability to lift and carry parts weighing up to 40 pounds.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Valid driver’s license required.
  • Ability to work in various environments, including plant settings.
