Overview

The Human Resources Manager will lead all HR activities and initiatives within the respective Distribution Center(s), acting as the primary business partner to management while driving HR programs including operations, recruitment, and employee relations.

In Short

  • Lead and develop a team of HR Coordinators.
  • Drive HR strategies and programs supporting business needs.
  • Manage recruitment and talent evaluation processes.
  • Handle employee relations and conflict resolution.
  • Ensure effective onboarding and training for new associates.
  • Administer ADA accommodations and related processes.
  • Leverage HR metrics to minimize turnover.
  • Partner with legal counsel for any employment-related issues.
  • Foster a culture of feedback and performance improvement.
  • Provide guidance on benefits and HR policies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or related field.
  • 3+ years HR leadership experience, preferably in retail or distribution.
  • PHR/SPHR certification preferred.
  • Understanding of CA Employment Law.
  • Ability to lead and develop high-functioning teams.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Ability to speak Spanish is strongly preferred.
