Agency Sales Specialist - Remote

Overview

The Agency Sales Specialist will support an assigned group of agents, providing primary agency support to promote production, retention, and profitability while assisting in agent onboarding and training.

In Short

• Educate agents on Builders Mutual products and services.
• Monitor and improve agents’ performance metrics.
• Partner with underwriting to manage agency profitability.
• Enhance relationships with appointed agents.
• Maintain information on key competitors.
• Assist in annual planning with State Territory Manager.
• Develop regular reports on business trends.
• Serve as primary liaison between agency and company.
• Respond to agency inquiries and resolve problems.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree with 2-3 years of sales or marketing experience.
• Insurance license or designation is desired.
• Strong knowledge of business and insurance principles.
• Excellent time management and communication skills.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities.
• Strong interpersonal and presentation skills.
• Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Strong computer skills (MS Office, Outlook, Excel, Power BI).
• Ability to communicate change and deal with ambiguity.
