• Join Budderfly as a Senior Energy Engineer focusing on Implementation & Optimization.
• Act as the Technical Implementation Lead for troubleshooting and performance insights.
• Enhance future project execution by documenting and resolving post-installation issues.
• Evaluate new energy efficiency solutions for customer deployment.
• Perform detailed pre-installation assessments and validations.
• Troubleshoot technical issues during and after installations.
• Analyze system performance and energy savings using EM&V methodologies.
• Create technical implementation guides and documentation templates.
• Ensure compliance with industry codes and energy incentive programs.
• Contribute insights for future product selections and design standards.

Requirements

• BS or MS degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Energy Engineering.
• 7+ years of experience in energy efficiency or HVAC/R system implementation.
• Proven track record with HVAC and refrigeration technologies.
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting capabilities.
• Working knowledge of ASHRAE standards and commercial incentive programs.
• Experience in developing and documenting ECMs.
• Proficiency in energy modeling tools and performance verification methods.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Certifications such as CEM, LEED AP, or PE license are preferred.
• Willingness to travel (~30%) for site support and installations.
