The Application Development Leader role will lead the team responsible for developing and supporting proprietary applications for Brown and Brown National Pharmacy Team, ensuring that new application requests are appropriately designed, scoped, and prioritized.

In Short

Lead the application development team and oversee all related activities.
Establish and improve application development practices and procedures.
Collaborate with business leaders to prioritize and assign work.
Drive application development delivery using project management techniques.
Maintain high standards for technical and design reviews.
Identify opportunities for collaboration between business and IT.
Consult with staff on risk mitigation opportunities through process change.
Present new ideas in user-friendly language.
Manage and direct application development projects and teams.
Work with cloud-based systems integration.

Requirements

Five years of experience in full stack development (C#, PHP, JavaScript, etc.).
Five years of experience managing application development projects.
Experience with databases and data modeling tools.
Demonstrated experience in leading project teams successfully.
Formal project methodology experience, preferably Agile/Scrum.
Minimum five years of IT management experience.
Previous experience in the pharmacy industry (preferred).
Experience with cloud-based systems like Salesforce, AWS, Azure (preferred).
