Overview

As the Director of Application Development at CIBC, you will lead the execution of programs and projects, driving transformational change within the Shared Platform Technologies group.

Requirements

• 10+ years of hands-on experience in application development and delivery disciplines.
• Deep understanding of Webservices (SOAP, REST, gRPC) and Microservices architecture.
• Experience with Event Driven systems and Mainframe technologies.
• Strong stakeholder communication and relationship management skills.
• Adept at implementing complex solutions aligned with business and technical requirements.
• Proven ability to deliver high-quality results within tight deadlines.
• Passionate about developing and coaching team members.
• Ability to translate complex technical concepts into business terms.
• Strong decision-making skills based on industry best practices.
• Knowledge of modern and legacy technologies.
