Overview

Brightspeed is looking for a Resource and Scheduling Specialist to join our team! As a Resource and Scheduling Specialist, you will be responsible for administering technician schedules to maximize appointment availability for external customers and manage schedules related to overtime.

In Short

• Administer technician schedules and manage time off requests.
• Coordinate Buried Service Wire (BSW) scheduling and drop locates.
• Track illness and FMLA occurrences for field management.
• Work with field team on vacation slots and shift requirements.
• Utilize guidelines including union contract requirements for scheduling.
• Manage daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly shift bid information.
• Ensure effective communication with field technicians and supervisors.
• Optimize appointment availability for external customers.
• Handle notifications of schedule approvals and denials.
• Assist in managing expenses related to overtime.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent experience.
• Strong organization skills.
• Attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to work rotating Saturdays.
