Overview

Brightspeed is looking for a Resource and Scheduling Specialist to join our team! You will be responsible for administering technician schedules, maximizing appointment availability for external customers, and managing schedule and expense management related to overtime.

In Short

  • Administer technician schedules and manage time off requests.
  • Coordinate Buried Service Wire (BSW) scheduling and permits.
  • Track illness and FMLA occurrences.
  • Work with the field team on vacation slots and shift requirements.
  • Utilize union contract requirements for scheduling decisions.
  • Handle communication via calls and emails from field technicians.
  • Manage daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly shift bid information.
  • Ensure optimal scheduling based on data from field scheduling tools.
  • Maintain organization and attention to detail in scheduling.
  • Support the field management with scheduling notifications.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent experience.
  • Strong organization skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work rotating Saturdays.
  • Attention to detail is critical.
