Overview

Brightspeed is looking for a driven, creative, experienced, and energetic leader to join our team and help support our life and safety customers as the Operations Service Manager.

In Short

  • Analyze customer/network outage trends to improve service performance.
  • Act as a technical resource for contingency plans.
  • Collaborate with sales to create disaster recovery plans.
  • Provide support and guidance on service assurance processes.
  • Deliver data on performance issues to internal teams.
  • Manage customer interactions from order to billing.
  • Promote revenue growth and customer satisfaction.
  • Participate in Quarterly Board Reviews.
  • Provide 24/7 support as needed.
  • Communicate order status to customers effectively.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree.
  • 10+ years in the telecommunications industry.
  • Leadership experience in a similar role.
  • Knowledge of TDM and IP based voice and data services.
  • Strong customer focus and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Experience with Public Safety rules and regulations.
  • Ability to collaborate with various teams.
  • Proven problem-solving skills.
