Overview

As a key member of the Total Rewards team, this role will strengthen the foundation of Braze’s total equity compensation programs and strategy, while driving scalability and preparing the Company for its next phase of growth.

In Short

  • Own all aspects of the global equity plan administration.
  • Build and maintain a competitive equity compensation strategy.
  • Oversee the communication and education of equity compensation programs.
  • Timely scheduling and preparation of the grant exhibit for Board approval.
  • Process new equity grants with attention to accuracy and completeness.
  • Prepare quarterly and yearly financial statement disclosures for equity plans.
  • Ensure that all equity-related internal controls are operating effectively.
  • Collaborate with Executives, Finance, People Team, Legal, and other teams.
  • Identify and implement improvements to the global equity administration process.
  • Provide a high level of service responding to inquiries about the equity plan.

Requirements

  • Bachelors Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance.
  • 5+ years of solid experience with E*Trade platform or other equity platform.
  • 2+ years of experience in stock administration at a publicly traded company.
  • Experience with Executive Compensation preferred.
  • Experience with Federal and State taxation on equity compensation.
  • Solid understanding of SOX controls.
  • Comprehensive understanding of different types of equity awards.
  • Public company experience required.
  • Highly organized and results-oriented.
  • Advanced Excel skills and comfortable using Google Workspace.
