Overview

As a Business Development Representative (BDR) specialising in cold calling, your primary responsibility will be to generate qualified meetings with potential clients through high-volume outbound calling.

You will work leadership-level prospects (V- and C-level executives) across industries. Success in this role requires resilience, exceptional communication skills, and a strong ability to deliver tailored messaging over the phone.

In Short

  • Conduct 100+ outbound calls per day.
  • Collaborate with the email BDR team to prioritise and manage outreach efforts.
  • Schedule 1–2 qualified meetings per day with Account Executives (AEs), ensuring a smooth handoff with detailed prospect notes.
  • Handle objections with confidence using frameworks like Challenger and SPIN selling techniques.
  • Track and report daily activities, including dials, connect rates, and meeting conversion metrics.
  • Continuously refine cold-calling scripts and approaches based on feedback and performance data.

Requirements

  • Exceptional communication skills.

  • Experience in outbound sales or cold calling.
