Engineering Manager - DevOps / Infrastructure - Remote

In Short

• Lead a team building and managing cloud infrastructure and tooling.
• Leverage engineering skills to architect and build cloud solutions.
• Oversee daily operations across DevOps and Cloud Infrastructure.
• Manage and develop your team through hiring, coaching, and continuous improvement.
• Champion best practices in reliability, automation, and security engineering.
• Participate in design and code reviews across the team’s projects.
• Work closely with other Engineering leadership to enable product roadmap delivery.
• Modernize cloud infrastructure and optimize cloud spend.
• Improve security and compliance of solutions.
• Experience leading remote teams.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience working in AWS cloud environments.
• Expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tooling including Terraform/OpenTofu and CloudFormation.
• Strong knowledge of security best practices.
• Experience managing CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure and application builds.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively.
• Familiarity with observability tools like DataDog.
• Strong bias for action, documentation, and education.
• History of architecting and developing scalable production applications.
• Experience in healthcare or regulated industries.
• AWS, Hashicorp, or other industry certifications.
