DevOps Manager - Remote

Overview

As a DevOps Manager at BlastPoint, you will lead a small team while ensuring high availability and performance of our cloud services, focusing on security and compliance.

• Lead and mentor a team of DevOps engineers
• Optimize AWS cloud infrastructure for performance and cost
• Ensure security and compliance, including SOC 2 readiness
• Implement CI/CD pipelines to enhance developer productivity
• Design and maintain AWS-based infrastructure using Terraform
• Establish monitoring and observability solutions
• Foster a culture of innovation and collaboration
• Collaborate with engineering teams for deployment efficiency
• Manage disaster recovery and data backup strategies
• Participate in strategic leadership while contributing hands-on

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related field
• 5 - 8 years of experience in DevOps or Cloud Infrastructure roles
• 2+ years of experience managing DevOps or SRE teams
• Experience with SOC 2 compliance and security tools
• Proficiency with Terraform and AWS services
• Experience building CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Willingness to travel to Pittsburgh office periodically
• Authorized to work in the US without sponsorship
