• Ensure high availability, fault tolerance, and scalability of cloud services
• Optimize performance and cost efficiency across AWS environments
• Lead a small team while contributing hands-on at a senior engineering level
• Design and maintain AWS infrastructure using Terraform
• Implement security best practices and manage SOC 2 compliance
• Enhance CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions
• Monitor and ensure system reliability and observability
• Establish disaster recovery and data backup best practices
• Mentor and foster a culture of innovation within the team
• Collaborate with engineering teams to streamline deployment processes

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related field
• 5+ years of experience in DevOps or related roles
• 2+ years of experience in team management
• Experience with SOC 2 compliance processes
• Proficiency in Terraform and AWS services
• Experience building CI/CD pipelines
• Excellent leadership and communication skills
• Willingness to travel to Pittsburgh office periodically
• Authorized to work in the US without sponsorship
