Overview

The Senior Director, Head of External Operations, will lead all manufacturing and packaging operations at Contract Manufacturing locations globally, ensuring timely delivery of quality products to support BioMarin’s clinical pipeline and commercial portfolio.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Chemistry or related field.
• 15+ years in biotechnology or pharmaceutical operations.
• 10+ years in GMP manufacturing environment.
• Experience overseeing product launch and tech transfer programs.
• Strong leadership and operations management experience.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Experience managing department budgets.
• Ability to travel up to 50% when required.
