Intern, Clinical Supply Chain - Remote

Overview

The BioMarin Summer Internship Program will enable students to gain valuable experience and knowledge of the processes and systems within BioMarin, while gaining an insight into the pharmaceutical/biotech industry. Over the course of 10 - 12 weeks our interns gain industry experience while working alongside our talented team on meaningful projects.

In Short

• Support key operational, documentation, reconciliation, and reporting activities across the Clinical Supply Chain (CSC) organization.
• Hands-on exposure to clinical trial execution and supply chain operations.
• Assist in the creation and maintenance of a centralized repository for clinical program documentation.
• Reconcile contract spend and budgets to ensure traceability.
• Evaluate current CSC metrics and reporting packages.
• Explore AI-based reporting or automation tools.
• Work on meaningful projects alongside experienced professionals.
• Gain insights into the pharmaceutical/biotech industry.
• Participate in professional development opportunities.
• Present findings and recommendations at the end of the internship.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in a related field.
• Must be available to work full time, 40 hours a week.
• Must be currently enrolled as a full-time student at an accredited U.S. based university.
• Must be able to relocate if necessary and work at the designated site for the duration of the internship.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
• Analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to communicate clearly with cross-functional partners.
• Interest in clinical supply chain operations and documentation systems.
• Experience with data visualization tools is a plus.
