Overview

The Senior Account Manager for PKU is responsible for maximizing sales of BioMarin's commercialized products in Texas and Louisiana. This role involves maintaining high levels of education on the disease, promoting awareness, and ensuring compliance for patients on therapy.

In Short

  • Achieve territory sales goals and profit targets.
  • Create and implement effective business plans.
  • Develop relationships with key customers including geneticists and nurses.
  • Communicate with external customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Provide leadership through example to fellow Account Managers.
  • Manage assigned territory financially.
  • Participate in business planning and disease awareness efforts.
  • Become an expert in PKU data.
  • Provide field insights to internal business partners.
  • Adhere to company policies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree in Healthcare preferred.
  • 7+ years in the Pharmaceutical or Healthcare industries.
  • 5+ years in biotech/specialty sales.
  • Sales experience within hospitals and academic institutions is highly desired.
  • Experience in new product launches preferred.
