Overview

The PKU Sr. Account Manager is responsible for maximizing sales of BioMarin commercialized products in their area, promoting awareness, and ensuring compliance for patients on therapy.

In Short

  • Achieve territory sales goals, penetration, market share, and profit targets.
  • Create and implement an effective business plan for strategy and patient compliance.
  • Develop relationships with key customers including geneticists and nurses.
  • Communicate effectively with external customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Provide leadership to fellow PKU Account Managers.
  • Financially manage assigned territory.
  • Participate in business planning and disease awareness efforts.
  • Become an expert in PKU data.
  • Provide field insights to internal business partners.
  • Adhere to all company policies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree in healthcare preferred.
  • 5-7 years of experience in Pharmaceutical or Healthcare industries.
  • 3-5 years of experience in biotech/specialty sales.
  • Sales experience within hospitals and academic institutions is a plus.
  • Experience with orphan-disease products and new product launches is highly desired.
