Director, Clinical Supply Chain - Remote

Overview

The Director, Clinical Supply Chain is responsible for developing and executing Avidity’s supply strategy across all clinical programs, ensuring effective demand management, supply planning, and cross-functional communication.

In Short

• Lead operational strategies for clinical programs.
• Build and implement accurate forecast models.
• Support clinical packaging and inventory management.
• Develop Clinical Supply SOPs.
• Source and select third-party vendors.
• Identify and communicate risks to timelines.
• Support regulatory filings as needed.
• Ensure adherence to regulations including FDA and EMA.
• Supervise and develop direct reports.
• Travel as needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in pharmaceutical sciences or related field; Advanced Degree preferred.
• 10+ years of Clinical Supply Chain management experience.
• Experience with third-party CMOs and cGMP clinical supplies.
• Experience supplying clinical products globally.
• Proficient in Excel; experience with clinical forecasting systems is a plus.
• Knowledge of IRT systems and cold chain shipping requirements.
• Proven collaboration skills with external providers.
• Experience with infusion-based therapies required.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to travel as needed.
