Overview

The Sales Manager, SMB will lead and grow a team of inside sales representatives responsible for converting prospects of BILL to paying customers, focusing on coaching and developing sales representatives on best practices to exceed KPIs and quotas.

  • Build and mentor a high-performing SMB sales team to lead and grow sales revenue.
  • Work closely with the sales operations team to build a metrics driven high velocity sales machine.
  • Promote operational excellence through strong pipeline management and accurate forecasting.

  • Provide regular, data-based updates to the leadership team.
  • Develop a close partnership with marketing teams for seamless collaboration.
  • Translate market and customer insights into feedback to influence product road map.
  • Create and execute sales pitches and messaging.
  • Help build a culture of achievement and success.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of relevant sales experience with a proven track record of success.
  • Sales manager or team lead with previous success leading teams selling high velocity business solutions.
  • Proven sales management track record of hiring, training, coaching, and motivating a sales team.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Track record of exceeding team sales quota.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce, Outreach, and other sales technologies.
  • Superior leadership and management skills.
  • Execution on high growth sales initiatives.
