In Short

• Draft and negotiate data processing agreements (DPAs).
• Support data privacy impact assessments and data subject requests.
• Assist in implementing global data privacy programs.
• Provide internal counseling on privacy by design principles.
• Act as a subject matter expert on privacy and data protection.
• Manage updates to privacy policies and notices.
• Stay updated with global privacy laws and regulations.
• Support vendor privacy due diligence processes.
• Coordinate with internal teams on privacy matters.
• Maintain strong relationships and communication within the organization.

Requirements

• Qualified solicitor or barrister with a valid practicing certificate.
• At least 5 years of data privacy law experience.
• Experience with cloud/SaaS agreements preferred.
• CIPP/E, CIPP/US or CIPM qualification is a bonus.
• Strong organizational and detail-oriented skills.
• Excellent analytical and decision-making skills.
• Ability to translate complex legal issues.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Team player with a positive attitude.
• Experience advising on US privacy issues preferred.
