Overview

The Marketing & Events Manager is responsible for executing events nationwide and managing the marketing operations at VRNation, ensuring seamless experiences at every event.

In Short

• Lead on-site execution of VRNation events from setup to teardown.
• Collaborate with the internal event planner for logistics and vendor management.
• Oversee marketing campaigns and maintain the content calendar.
• Manage a team of contractors for social media and email marketing.
• Travel approximately 20% to 25% of the time for events.
• Ensure membership growth and engagement through targeted campaigns.
• Track marketing performance and report results to leadership.
• Direct contractors to ensure consistent output and alignment with brand messaging.
• Conduct post-event debriefs to improve future events.
• Maintain strong communication with the internal team during events.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in event planning.
• Experience managing small teams or contractors.
• Familiarity with content briefing and creative direction.
• 1+ year of marketing coordination experience.
• Comfort with social media and email marketing tools.
• Strong project management skills.
• Willingness to travel frequently.
• Valid driver's license and travel readiness.
