Overview

The Account Executive role focuses on finding and selling net new clients to our brokerage book of business in the West Coast region, managing the entire sales cycle from prospecting to closing.

In Short

  • Outbound prospecting via email, LinkedIn, phone, etc.
  • Target specific-sized companies by employee count, gross revenue, and industry vertical.
  • Build and nurture business relationships to generate new business.
  • Prepare and present marketing analysis and recommendations.
  • Conduct product demonstrations internally and externally.
  • Attend Finalist Meetings with the Bennie Team and Prospects/Customers.
  • Perform outbound activities to build a revenue pipeline.
  • Qualify inbound leads and target key decision makers.
  • Capture and manage data in Salesforce CRM.
  • Network with market influencers and other account executives.

Requirements

  • 2-5 years of sales experience.
  • Experience in the benefits market.
  • Licensed in Life and Health Insurance or willing to get licensed.
  • Proven experience in accurately forecasting and hitting revenue targets.
  • Desire to work in a fast-paced startup environment.
  • Strong work ethic, integrity, and adaptability.
  • CRM experience.
