Overview

Bellami Hair is seeking a dynamic Inside Sales Representative to play a key role in driving our success. Reporting directly to the Director of Inside Sales, you will have the exciting opportunity to re-engage inactive customers and build stronger relationships with our valued small accounts. Your efforts will directly contribute to the growth and vitality of our brand, making this a truly rewarding position.

In Short

  • Utilize knowledge of Bellami’s products, policies, and procedures to successfully and accurately conduct sales transactions with existing and prospective professional customer accounts.
  • Use all sales and marketing resources available to accelerate professional stylists through a defined sales cycle.
  • Proactively identify and pursue new sales opportunities within existing professional customer accounts.
  • Convert professional inbound and outbound calls into sales and add-on opportunities (e.g., upselling, selling a full line of products).
  • Meet and/or exceed defined sales quota, quarterly objectives, and annual goals.
  • Achieve new account quotas through lead development.
  • Maintain service levels by contacting all accounts in assigned vacant and non-rep territories monthly by phone.
  • If a vacant territory arises, contact all accounts in the territory assigned by the regional manager a minimum of 1X per month until the territory is filled with a full-time Inside Sales Rep.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum 3 years of sales experience, preferably with professional hair stylists or in the beauty industry.
  • Knowledgeable and competent in the key elements of inside sales, including:
  • Proven ability to sell and get results.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Customer qualification, acquisition, and business development utilizing effective sales techniques.
  • Excellent planning, time management, and organization skills.
  • Ability to translate solutions back to internal and external customer(s) as well as management.
  • Interface effectively with all levels in the organization and excel in a team-oriented environment.
  • Able to efficiently manage core job responsibilities and assigned projects while meeting established deadlines.
  • Proficient with Microsoft applications, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and with customer relationship management databases.
  • Proven ability to work with confidential and proprietary information and data.
  • Experience with NetSuite and/or Shopify a plus.
  • Outstanding telephone and interpersonal skills.
  • Exemplary oral and written communication skills.
