The Senior Manager, Strategic Government Contracting will develop a strategic vision to enable Beckman Coulter Diagnostics to maximize US government contracting awards that creates annual growth in this complex segment.

• Owner of $100m U.S. Government contract development process.
• Oversee all key contracting with the US Government.
• Provide tactical guidance to internal cross-functional teams.
• Work closely with Marketing to ensure compliance with government requirements.
• Drive overall contract response accuracy and compliance.
• Lead the submission of competitive proposals for US government contracting.
• Ensure the latest technologies are deployed in the contracting process.
• Develop contract vehicles and approved distributors.

• Collaborate with various stakeholders to enhance service offerings.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree with 14+ years of experience or Master’s degree with 12+ years of experience.
• Understanding of contract development and management.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to handle multiple projects under tight deadlines.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills.
• Experience in government contracting in the medical device industry.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite, Adobe Acrobat, and SharePoint.
• Customer-focused and service-oriented mindset.
• Extensive relationship management experience.
• Negotiation skills for internal and external customers.
