National Applications Specialist - Automation - Remote

Overview

The National Applications Specialist - Automation is responsible for moderate to large-scale implementations of complex diagnostic laboratory automation systems, providing technical guidance and support to field teams.

In Short

• Fully remote position with 80% travel required.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with field service and project management teams.
• Develop expert software and applications skills for laboratory automation systems.
• Provide advanced applications and workflow troubleshooting.
• Communicate complex concepts to internal and external customers.
• Mentor and train customers and field support personnel.
• Requires a Bachelor's degree in Medical, Biological Sciences, or Engineering.
• 3+ years of relevant industry experience preferred.
• Operational experience with diagnostics laboratory instrumentation.
• Strong computer skills, particularly in MS Office.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Associate's degree in relevant fields.
• 3+ years or 5+ years of relevant experience based on degree.
• Ability to lead and influence customer-facing interactions.
• Previous experience in diagnostics laboratory automation preferred.
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record required.
• Must have a valid U.S. Passport.
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
• Ability to travel domestically and occasionally internationally.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills.
• Knowledge of network/LIS communication and troubleshooting.
