Overview

The Field Service Engineer at Azenta Inc. is responsible for performing customer support activities including installation, modification, repair, and preventive maintenance of equipment and systems to ensure proper working order.

In Short

  • Perform installation, modification, and maintenance of equipment.
  • Interface with customers to meet service level agreements.

Requirements

  • High school degree required; AS degree or technical certificate preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years related work experience or military technical training.
  • Strong electrical and mechanical background.
  • Excellent communication skills in English.
  • Proficient in PC use, Windows, and DOS.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and climb ladders.
  • Valid driver’s license and good driving record.
  • Willingness to travel up to 70-80% of the time.
  • Ability to work in cold environments and awkward positions.
  • Qualified for background screening.
