Overview

The Sales Associate at Azenta will support the Sales Executives in growing the business, focusing on lead generation and customer interactions within the life sciences sector.

• Support designated Sales Executives/Managers.
• Create sales strategies for the territory.
• Conduct marketing and sales in academic and biotech accounts.
• Generate qualified leads through outbound prospecting.
• Follow up with new customers and manage inquiries.
• Prepare reports for territory and account management.
• Lead generation and data entry into CRM.
• Work towards a career in sales or marketing.
• Qualify marketing leads from trade shows and events.
• Willingness to travel 3-5 days per month.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Life Sciences.
• Related experience recommended.
• Background in Molecular Biology.
• Previous sales experience preferred.
• CRM experience preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to speak in public and interact confidently with customers.
