Sales Associate - Remote

Overview

The Sales Associate will interact with customers and donors, provide excellent customer service, and support store operations while adhering to health and safety standards.

In Short

• Greet and assist customers/donors in a friendly manner.
• Meet store sales targets and provide customer service.
• Handle cash and debit transactions accurately.
• Maintain store appearance and assist with inventory management.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Assist with donation processing and stock rotation.
• Work collaboratively with team members and management.
• Participate in store layout planning for customer attraction.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
• Contribute to a safe and organized store environment.

Requirements

• Completion of some high school coursework.
• Experience in customer service or goods processing preferred.
• Cash handling experience required.
• Ability to lift/move 30 pounds frequently.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently.
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
• Experience in a computerized environment is an asset.
• Willingness to support the mission of The Salvation Army.
