In Short

• Lead engineering architecture design reviews
• Set a high technical bar for the team through code and architecture design reviews
• Work across teams with Product, Design, and Engineering to create integrated solutions
• Improve Engineering processes including sprint planning and stand-ups
• Partner with internal teams to make public safety data accessible
• Influence peers and coach junior team members
• Facilitate cross-team collaboration among engineers

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Engineering, or 7+ years of relevant experience
• Expertise in JavaScript frameworks like React, Angular, Vue, or Svelte
• Backend experience in languages such as Java, Scala, Go, or C#
• Ability to make tough technical decisions
• Knowledge of SQL or NoSQL data stores
• Good experience with Linux/Unix/Mac
• Passion for delighting end users
