Private Markets Legal Counsel - Remote

Our client leverages the expertise of specialized local teams and a global platform to deliver high-quality investment management solutions.

In Short

• Provide legal advice, guidance, and updates on corporate, regulatory, and governance matters.
• Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of agreements, including investment management, administration, distribution, marketing, and NDAs.
• Manage day-to-day corporate matters for the company and its entities, maintaining legal files and statutory registers.
• Collaborate with teams across the organization, such as Compliance, Investment Management, and Operations, to support legal and corporate projects.
• Liaise with external counsel as needed and assist the General Counsel in ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
• Support the Board and Management Committees on a range of legal tasks and projects, including drafting internal policies, SLAs, and governance documents.

Requirements

• 4+ years of PQE in corporate/commercial law, preferably in the financial or investment management sector.
• Ability to work independently and manage changing priorities with a proactive approach.
• Strong interpersonal skills, with an understanding of stakeholder needs and effective communication.
• Fluent in English, German mother tongue.
