Corporate Paralegal - Remote

Overview

Axiom is seeking corporate governance paralegals to join our bench of fully vetted candidates working temporary secondments for our top F100 clients in Chicago.

In Short

• Assist client's legal team in drafting and reviewing corporate governance documents, including board resolutions, bylaws, policies, and charters.
• Conduct research and analyze legal and regulatory requirements related to corporate governance and compliance.
• Maintain and update corporate records, including board and committee minutes, shareholder records, and other governance-related documents.
• Assist with the preparation and filing of corporate documents including annual reports, proxy statements, and SEC filings.
• 4+ years of corporate governance experience gained working as a paralegal in a large corporate in-house environment.
• Strong understanding of corporate governance principles and best practices.
• Familiarity with corporate filings, SEC regulations, and compliance requirements.
• Proficient in legal research tools, databases, and related software.
• Open to working in an engagement-based role, seconded to clients on a temporary basis for approximately 6 months at a time.
• This role offers a range of competitive compensation starting at $80,000 and a highly competitive benefits package.
