Overview

The Corporate Paralegal is a strategic partner who helps build and strengthen the legal infrastructure of a mission-driven company, focusing on corporate governance, legal operations, and contract management.

In Short

• Partner with the Chief Legal Officer to manage budgets and optimize outside counsel spend.
• Implement and maintain legal technology solutions, including designing the first enterprise CLM system.
• Develop KPIs and reporting metrics for legal department performance.
• Coordinate vendor relationships and billing processes across law firms.
• Design contract templates and approval workflows.
• Manage board, SEC, and committee calendars.
• Assist with SEC report preparation and filing.
• Support compliance training initiatives.
• Manage intellectual property portfolio and litigation matters.
• Contribute to a dynamic, high-growth, purpose-driven work environment.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree and paralegal certificate or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of corporate paralegal experience.
• Demonstrated contract management and legal operations experience.
• Excellent project management skills.
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical abilities.
• Experience with board software and contract management systems.
• EDGAR filing system proficiency.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Up to 10% travel required.
• Must reside in the United States.
