Associate Account Manager - Remote

Overview

The Associate Account Manager is responsible for proactively maintaining and retaining relationships with existing customers for permanent commercial and industrial waste services in an assigned territory.

In Short

• Maintains and retains existing customer relationships.
• Makes outbound and receives inbound calls to retain business.
• Increases customer penetration by selling the full suite of products.
• Utilizes Salesforce for scheduling and documenting activities.
• Responds to cancellation requests in alignment with company policy.
• Meets regularly with Sales Manager to review activities and goals.
• Develops knowledge of company services and pricing structures.
• Performs contractual re-signs to extend customer relationships.
• Captures customer emails and minimizes rate restrictions.
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or G.E.D. (Required)
• 0 - 2 years of customer service experience (Required)
• Waste or transportation industry experience preferred.
